UPDATE ABOUT THE SYSTEMIC INSTITUTE OF CYPRUS (SIC)

We would like to inform you that, according to an official communication we received from the European Association for Psychotherapy (EAP), the EAPTI status of the Systemic Institute of Cyprus (SIC) has been temporarily suspended as of May 28, 2025.

We consider it important to point out that this decision does not affect the recognition of the SIC as a nationally accredited Educational Institute by the Cyprus Association of Psychotherapists (PAP).

We would like to express our special assurance to the Institute's trainees, as the Systemic Family Psychotherapy training program continues uninterruptedly, and its completion is not in doubt.

The submission of applications and the acquisition of the European Certificate in Psychotherapy (ECP) remain assured both for already registered trainees and for those who wish to obtain it in the future.

The PAP, in close collaboration with the Management and Educational Staff of the SIC, is working intensively to upgrade the program and the rapid restoration of European accreditation.
