Guidelines for Professionals

The Pancyprian Association for Psychotherapists assumes a great responsibility towards the public by defining ethical principles, training criteria and guidelines referring to Continuous Professional Development, that monitor the practice of the profession.

PAP assists, supervises, evaluates and certifies professionals as well as Institutes who would like to provide accredited short- or long-term  courses and training programs and curricula according to the defined guidelines.

A special concern lies with the advanced training for Psychotherapy of Children and Adolescents, which deserves our particular attention. Psychotherapists who are working and dealing with the most vulnerable persons of our society need a serious, specialized and accredited training.
