Dear Members,

It is with deep emotion that I bid farewell to you, the members of the Pancyprian Association for Psychotherapists, and to all those who have accompanied me on this journey. After mature reflection and with a sense of responsibility, I conclude my term as President of the Association, having experienced a period and a position deeply connected to personal commitment, vision and substantial interest in the future of psychotherapy in Cyprus.

My term has been an experience rich in challenges, learning and human encounters. I have had the fruitful experience of collaborating with colleagues who work with integrity, professionalism and sincere care for people and our profession. Together we have tried to strengthen the voice of psychotherapy, to promote dialogue, ethics and collective responsibility.

I would like to thank all the members of the Association from the bottom of my heart for the trust, support and – even more – for the critical thinking and creative reflection that accompanied me on this journey. Every exchange, even in difficult times, has been precious to me.

I am stepping down from the role of President, but remaining present as an active member of our community, with a deep belief that the Pancyprian Association of Psychotherapists will continue to evolve with unity, responsibility and humanity. I will always be there for you as long as I can.

Photini Demetriou - Ipsmiller
